Where does the time go?

Ouch, I just noticed that its been since August 28th that I last posted. September has been crazy busy. Lets see here, whats been going on. Camping Labor day weekend, two little boys, long days at work, two little boys, getting every little house project finished up before the snow starts to fly, and two little boys. The boys have figured out that I can’t catch both of them if they run in opposite directions.

I haven’t don’t anything on the technology front lately. I have done little coding on JHulk and I still havn’t touched the new computer sitting in my office. I have been going website crazy lately though. I am creating a site for our church, the youth group for the church, and the Moms group for the church. Wow, yeah, then there are the two I am doing freelance for a client also. Wow, thats alot, I guess I had better get to work.

Ya know Jeff if you used Flash or AJAX I think your freelance clients would be happy with there web sites.

I was thinking about coding the site in XML, then adding a web service, for an ECommerce solution. Then do an inverse cost analysis to determine ROI for backwards compatability. But Flash and AJAX does sound like a good place to start. 😉

I really think you need to focus on an end-to-end Web 2.0 solution. Possibly using a custom content management system. You know – you used really be concerned with Search Engine Optimization.

Odd, I thought flash, with its rich interface was paramount for accessibility and s.e.o. I guess we could just leverage Linux to do the whole project, I have heard is very powerful.

I read on the internet you should do a “Mash-up”. That is a good solution. Maybe somehow use MySpace.
